Turmeric Ginger Shot Recipe
Makes 8
Ingredients
4 5cm pieces of fresh turmeric (washed but not peeled)
2 5cm pieces of fresh ginger (washed but not peeled)
4 oranges, peeled (you can substitute orange for lemons or grapefruit if you prefer)
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Method
- Using a juicer, juice turmeric, ginger and citrus.
- Stir through the black pepper.
Notes
- A serve is 50ml.
- Add coconut water for sweetness.
- Store in the fridge for up to a week. Freeze any excess.
