When you think about keto meals, you might immediately think they’re expensive. I’m here to show you that there are cheap keto meals out there and here are 8 of them!
Before we get into the recipes though, I want to talk about ways that you can keep keto meals on the cheaper side. There are ways to make them more affordable.
Here are my tips for making cheap keto meals:
- Use cheaper cuts of meat. For example, instead of using chicken breast use chicken thighs.
- Find good quality mince meats. They are usually more affordable than other cuts of meat but just make sure you spend a little more and get better quality meats.
- Buy other pantry staples (like almonds) in bulk. This is a great way to save money. You could even go in with some friends and create a wholesale account. Simply place your order than divide it all up.
- Have some meat-free days. Just because you’re eating keto, doesn’t mean you have to eat meat every day! Mix it up with some great vegan keto meals.
- Fill your meals with low carb veggies. Again, just because you’re eating keto, doesn’t mean you have to eat loads of meat and dairy! I do find that some people go overboard on the meat and forget about adding more veggie!
